Levron Aerogel Felt is used for heat insulation. Levron Aerogel felt has also fire resistance capability. In this video fire resistance ability is compared with glass wool and rock wool.

5 cm Rockwool, 4 cm Glasswool, 2 cm Levron Aerogel Felt (Glasswool based) were exposed to 1000o C flame. Rockwool and Glasswool had a hole around 9th minute and completed their tasks at the experiment. The experiment was stopped after Levron Felt was observed to be in constant interaction with the flame.

In this experiment we have seen that the fire insulation can be made much thinner with Levron felt.
